Notes from the studio
Writing on building products, selling niche software, and doing the engineering properly.
Selling a deployed product instead of a codebase changes everything about how you build - and what a customer actually gets.
When a bespoke project is worth it, when it is a trap, and how to tell which one you are looking at.
For a product you sell to a salon or a jeweller, a "Buy now" button is the wrong front door.
Retrofitting accessibility is expensive and never quite works. Building it in costs almost nothing.
